Vidiot art group, 2008 - 2015

Vidiot art group gathered in 2007 in Rodchenko school of photography and multimedia at the video class by Kirill Preobrazhensky, Petr Zhukov, Leonid Studenikin and Ilya Korobkov. Now the group have an open structure. The main idea of the group is developing video language, especially possibilities of new narration in it and problem of lasting. As well the group works with local Moscow and Russia cultural situation and makes an artistic research of its present and past via video works. Main works made in this direction are: “The Way of Samodelkin” full length video film researching Moscow art scene of 1980-90-00th and “Kursk. Upcoming” as a research of Kursk region of Moscow and in memory of Kursk submarine.
Important and lasting project of group is a video magazine (thematical issues twice a year) and an online tv channel.
